BNP is announcing the initial list of candidates for 237 seats ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliament election.
On Monday (November 3) afternoon, the party’s Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir read out the names of the final candidates at a press conference at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan, the capital.
Former secretary Abdul Bari has been nominated for the Joypurhat-2 seat. Abdul Bari has served as the Deputy Commissioner of Joypurhat district and Divisional Commissioner of Dhaka.
Abdul Bari officially joined the BNP on the morning of July 21 by presenting a bouquet of flowers to Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. News Mirza Fakhrul announced the party’s list of potential candidates for 237 seats.
“There is no alternative to BNP’s nomination candidate, former DC, former secretary, and public leader Mr. Md. Abdul Bari in Joypurhat-2 constituency. Only this honest, competent, and fearless leader can fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the general public of Joypurhat-2 constituency.
Md. Abdul Bari has never sold positions like anyone else, nor has he divided his party into 24 pieces like anyone else. Rather, he was the first to call on everyone to unite with responsibility. He has not embezzled money from college committees like any leader.

He said that the seats for which no candidates have been given will be announced later. Apart from these, some seats will be left to partners.
