The Hifzul Quran Competition and Award Distribution Ceremony-2025 was held in Hijla, Barisal, jointly organized by Huffazul Quran Foundation Bangladesh, Hijla Upazila Branch and Faisal Mahmud Foundation. The ceremony was held at 9 am on Monday (October 27, 2025) at the grounds of Qasemul Ulum Islamia Madrasa.
Hafez Ahmadullah, President, Huffazul Quran Foundation Hijla Upazila, presided over the ceremony. He said that Huffazul Quran Foundation has always been working for Quran-based education and moral development of the young generation. This trend will continue in the future too, InshaAllah.
The chief guest was Alhaj Engineer Faisal Mahmud Talukder, Founder Faisal Mahmud Foundation Hijla Barisal. He said that a society in which Quran Hafizs are produced can never be immersed in darkness. Only a generation enlightened by the light of the Quran can build a moral and ideal society.
The main speaker was Ustazul Asatija Alhaj Hazrat Maulana Abdur Rahim (D.B.) Shaykh Qasemul Ulum Islamia Madrasa. He said that the real purpose of Hifzul Quran is not just to memorize it, but to keep it in the heart and implement it in life.
The special guests were Alhaj Hazrat Maulana Abdul Mannan Dhali (D.B.) and Alhaj A. K. M Masumur Rahman Sikder.
Also present at the event was Alhaj Hazrat Maulana Salahuddin Khan, Principal of Qasemul Ulum Islamia Madrasa and Chief Advisor of Huffazul Quran Foundation Hijla Upazila Branch. He said that no nation can survive if the relationship with the Quran is not strong. Such an arrangement will play an important role in advancing our children and adolescents on the path of the Quran.
The program was conducted by Hafiz Maulana Al Amin, General Secretary, Huffazul Quran Foundation Hijla Upazila. At the end of the program, the guests presented prizes to the Hafizs participating in the competition. Local religious people, teachers, students and guardians were present at the program.
At this time, sincere greetings and congratulations were extended to the organizers on behalf of the Qurani-Nur Foundation. Sanaullah As Sudais, founder and director of the foundation, said, such a Quran-based event in Hijla is truly inspiring. We want this continuity to continue and the practice of the Quran to spread in every village. The Hafizs of the Quran are the moral guides of our nation.
