Habiganj District Superintendent of Police (SP) ANM Sajidur Rahman is going to join his new job after being transferred. In his farewell message, he recalled the cooperation of the people in implementing people-friendly policing, but expressed regret over not being able to take the desired measures to combat online gambling due to lack of technical expertise.
He took charge of the Habiganj District Superintendent of Police in mid-January last year. After taking charge, this police officer mentioned that he worked to make the police force 100% active and people-friendly. In his comment, “A professional police is not made in a day; one has to gradually reach the desired position through long practice and hard work.”
He also said— “Thank you to everyone who cooperated and criticized me during my short tenure. However, I apologize for not being able to take the necessary measures to stop online gambling due to lack of technical expertise.”
SP Sajidur Rahman sought the prayers of the people of the district, stating that he has been ordered to take responsibility on a larger scale in this transferred job.
Finally, on the Facebook ID of the Police Superintendent, he said, “Please pray for the Bangladesh Police and my family. Allah is the Hafez.”
