The grand inauguration ceremony of Sonali Bank's new building was held on Monday (17 November 2025) at 10 am at the two-storey market of their new building, Threestar Plaza, in Bholahat, Chapainawabganj.

Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Acting Upazila Executive Officer Md. Shamim Hossain were present as the chief guests at the event organized by Sonali Bank Bholahat branch. Md. Morshed Imam, Deputy General Manager of Chapainawabganj District Sonali Bank, and Md. Rafizul Islam Dablu, owner of Threestar Plaza and prominent businessman, were present as special guests.

Bholahat Zone Branch Manager Khandaker Habib Anwar delivered the welcome speech at the event. The bank inauguration ceremony was attended by Bank Senior Officer Md. Abdullah Al Azim, Upazila Youth Development Officer Md. Rabiul Islam Kabiraj, Bholahat Government Women's College Acting Principal Md. Jamal Uddin, Mohabullah College Principal Md. Rahmat Ali, Headmaster Md. Qurban Ali, Upazila administration officials, police administration, heads of various secondary and higher secondary schools and madrasas, bank staff and a group of media personnel.

The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. The ceremony was concluded with the unveiling of the bank's colorful plaque and prayers. The prayer was conducted by Maulana Md. Abdul Kader, Pesh Imam of Upazila Model Jame Mosque.
