Gaibandha Correspondent:

A familiarization meeting was held with the newly appointed Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Gaibandha district, Mohammad Masudur Rahman Molla, with the participation of media workers from print, electronic and online media of the district.

The meeting was held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner today (November 19, 2025) at 4 pm.

In the meeting, journalists presented the overall development of the district, long-neglected problems, infrastructural irregularities, service disruptions and various aspects of public suffering in stages. The Deputy Commissioner listened attentively to the questions and complaints raised by the media workers.

Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Masudur Rahman Molla told journalists,

The administration will work to identify the problems of Gaibandha and resolve them quickly. No kind of irregularities or corruption will be tolerated in development activities. If the administration and the media work together to improve the quality of public services, it is possible to ensure positive changes.

He further said that to reduce the suffering of the common people, the administration will give utmost importance to increasing field-level supervision, transparency in the service sector and speedy resolution of complaints.

Journalists from various media working in the district were present at the meeting. They expressed their determination to work collectively to advance the development of Gaibandha by maintaining good relations.
