Former Member of Parliament and musician Mumtaz Begum has been granted bail by the High Court in three separate cases.

A double bench of the High Court on Monday (June 15) granted his bail application and gave the order, confirmed the lawyer concerned.
As a result, this former member of parliament got some relief in the legal process by getting bail in the cases.

Earlier, he was arrested from a house behind Star Kebab in Dhanmondi area of ​​the capital at around 12:15 on May 12 last year.
It is to be noted that Mumtaz Begum contested the last 12th National Parliament election from Manikganj-2 seat on the boat symbol of Awami League. However, he was defeated in that election and lost to independent candidate Dewan Zahid Ahmed (Tulu).
