Today, June 17th, Wednesday, at exactly 3 PM, a protester marched with hawkers from Subodh Mallick Square to Bidhan Chandra Roy's house in protest against the eviction of hawkers from in front of Dharmatala Lenin statue.

Several leaders including former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Trinamool Congress' Baisyanar Chatterjee, Dola Sen, Suman Chatterjee, Ramakrishna Pal, Aparna Mouli, were present in this protest march.

They said the way the opposition and double engine government is oppressing and terrorizing Fokard for a month, demolishing everything with bulldozers, destroying everything, we will not let it happen. Committed.

Until the hawkers are rehabilitated, not a single hawker will be allowed to lift, before they are rehabilitated, two and a half to three hundred hawkers participated in this protest march.

They say our didi is with us, who has always protested and is still taking to the streets to protest. BJP double engine government is continuing to destroy our livelihood. Get out of Bengal immediately.

About two and a half to three hundred hawkers marched from in front of the Leylin statue, chanting slogans and marching to Subodh Mallick Square.
