A joint operation at the Azmatpur border of Chapainawabganj has recovered 01 foreign pistol, 06 rounds of bullets and 02 magazines.
Today, Wednesday, September 24, at approximately 12:30 pm, a joint operation was conducted by BGB and RAB in Bagichapara village of Shahbazpur union under Shibganj police station of Chapainawabganj district, approximately 01 km from the border main pillar 182 of the area under the responsibility of Azmatpur BOP under the battalion. In the said joint operation, the patrol team was able to seize 01 ownerless foreign pistol, 06 rounds of bullets and 02 magazines. The seized weapons, bullets and magazines have been handed over to the GD and Shibganj police station.
It is worth noting that the RAB was led by CPC-1, Chapainawabganj Company Commander Lt. Sayeed Mahmud Sadan (BN) and the BGB was led by Azmatpur BOP Commander Naib Subedar Md. Shahinur Rahman.
In this regard, the commander of Mahananda Battalion (59 BGB) Lt. Col. Golam Kibria, BGBM, BGOM confirmed the truth of the matter.
