Upazila Land Assistant Commissioner (AC Land) and Acting Upazila Executive Officer Md. Shamim Hossain exchanged views with all journalists and local social media of Bholahat Press Club. It was held at his office on Tuesday (4 November 2025) at 3 pm.

Md. Shamim Hossain joined Bholahat as Assistant Commissioner (Land) on 16 October 2025. Currently, as the post of Upazila Executive Officer is vacant, he is serving as the Acting UNO.

During the exchange of views, he said, “Former UNO Md. Moniruzzaman Sir was a very good person. He has conducted various development activities in Bholahat in a short time. I want to work by maintaining the continuity of the initiatives left by him.”

He also said that the cooperation of journalists is essential in all public interest activities including the development of the greater Bilbhatia area and medical intersection, drug control, and prevention of adulterated baby food.
