Kaliakair (Gazipur) Representative:

Goats and various materials have been distributed among the beneficiaries under the Integrated Livestock Development Project to improve the socio-economic and quality of life of the backward small ethnic groups living in the plains of Kaliakair Upazila of Gazipur.

On Thursday morning, goats and materials were distributed among 154 small ethnic groups organized by the Upazila Livestock Department and Veterinary Hospital.

Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Mizanur Rahman presided over the distribution ceremony, with Upazila Executive Officer Kausar Ahmed present as the chief guest. Also present were Veterinary Surgeon Kaliakair Upazila Livestock Department Dr. Md. Mamunur Rahman Mamun and Upazila Agriculture Officer Md. Zahid Hasan along with other officials and employees.

Among the materials, two goats, two tin cans, four poles, 25 kg of food, and 5 floor mats each were distributed to beneficiaries from small ethnic groups.
