The Retired Arms Forces Association (RAFA) organized a summit and reception to commemorate the significance of November 21 in Morelganj, Bagerhat. The program began at 8:30 am on November 21 with the hoisting of the national flag and the flag of the armed forces.
The summit was held at 9:30 am at the Model Mosque Auditorium. At the beginning of the program, Sergeant (Retd) Md. Kamrul Islam inaugurated the program by reciting the Holy Quran.
Honorary Captain (Retd) Md. Farhad Hossain Sikder spoke as the chief guest of the program, Senior Petty Officer (Retd) Md. Shahinul Haque Dipu spoke as the special guest,
The program was attended by Master Warrant Officer (Retd) Md. Moniruzzaman, Senior Warrant Officer (Retd) Md. Saidur Rahman, Senior Warrant Officer (Retd) Md. Rostam Ali, Sergeant (Retd) Md. Lokman Hossain, Sergeant (Retd) Kazi Md. Kabir Hossain, Sergeant (Retd) Md. Mizanur Rahman, Sergeant (Retd) Md. Firoz Ahmed, Lance Corporal (Retd) Md. Gias Uddin, etc.
The speakers at the program spoke about the significance and importance of November 21. On this day, the army, air force and navy united and fought against the Pakistani invasion forces. And led the Durbar attack. As a result of which we have achieved independence today. We have got an independent country and a red and green flag. Therefore, November 21 is an important day for the armed forces, namely the three forces. The speakers prayed for the forgiveness of the departed souls of all the martyrs of the armed forces.
Later, at 12:30 pm, a friendly banquet was organized by the “Rafa” organization. All the members of the Rafa organization spontaneously participated in the friendly banquet. After the friendly banquet, the program was declared over.
