MP Harunur Rashid Harun inaugurated the Debinagar Pragati Cup Football Tournament-2025 in Sadar Upazila of Chapainawabganj. The Debinagar Pragati Cup Football Tournament 2025 was inaugurated on October 1 at 9.30 am.
Present at the event was Mr. Mamunur Rashid, President of Debinagar Pragati Sangha, Mr. Harunur Rashid, leader of the masses of Chapainawabganj BNP and former 4-time MP Mr. Harunur Rashid Harun, BNP leader and former Vice Chairman of Sadar Upazila Parishad Mr. Nazrul Islam, BNP leader and former councilor of the municipality Mr. Barek Ali, former Chhatra Dal President Mr. Sarwar Jahan, former Chairman of Debinagar Union Parishad AKM Shahedul Alam Biswas Palash were present.
Also present were Mr. Sadiqul Islam, President of Debinagar Union BNP, Mr. Abdul Aziz, Headmaster of Debinagar Dimbukhe Secondary School, all members of Pragati Sangha including the General Secretary, Debinagar football lovers, journalists from electronic and print media, team management and visitors from far and wide were present.
A total of 16 teams participated in the Debinagar Pragati Cup Football Tournament 2025, on the first day of participation, eight teams participated in the opening match between Bandhu Bij Bhandar Godagari and the opponent Star Bandhu Foundation Academy Islampur. The first match was held at 10 am, as a result, Bandhu Bij Bhandar won by two goals to nil.
