The closing ceremony of the week was held under the theme “Planned Family, Safe Motherhood Pledge” organized by Hauli Union Health and Family Planning Welfare Center.
On Thursday (December 11) at 09:30 am, the closing ceremony of the service and publicity week was held at the Hauli Health and Family Welfare Center premises in Damurhuda Upazila of Chuadanga.
Chuadanga Honorable Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Kamal Hossain was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony. At this time, he said that family planning is not just a matter of birth control, it is the key to a healthy, beautiful and better life. When a couple plans and has a child, they can ensure the health of the mother and child. They can keep themselves financially well-off and build a better future.
He also said that each of us needs to know about this service, use it and encourage others. Let us be aware, build a planned family, build a healthy life and be partners in the development of the country. Hoi.
The program was held under the chairmanship of Chuadanga District Family Planning Department Deputy Director Deepak Kumar Saha and moderated by Damurhuda Upazila Assistant Health and Population Officer Hosne Mubarak Shilon. Damurhuda Upazila Executive Officer Obaidur Rahman Sahel was present as a special guest.
Upazila Health and Population Officer Dr. Mashiur Rahman, Medical Officer Tariqul Islam, Acting Chairman of Hauli Union Nizam Uddin, Dr. Shamsunnahar Shampa, Dr. Mosha Selina, other invited persons, and representatives of development partners and organizations were present.
At the end of the closing ceremony, Shuddhakhar Awards were given to pregnant mothers and children through lottery. Hafizur Rahman was in overall support.
