On the occasion of the 54th Winter Sports Competition-2026 of the Bangladesh National School, Madrasa and Technical Education Sports Association, an award distribution and closing ceremony was held at the Kaukhali Upazila meeting room on Wednesday, January 7.
Kaukhali Upazila Executive Officer Md. Asaduzzaman presided over the closing ceremony.

Abdul Hannan and Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer, Pradeep Kumar Halder were also present. 3rd Sadar Chairman Md. Mostafizur Rahman. The program was conducted by Md. Mizanur Rahman, Headmaster of Keundia Girls' School. Student athletes, teachers, guardians and sports-related people from various educational institutions were present at the program.

In the president's speech, the Upazila Executive Officer said that sports are very important for the physical and mental development of students. Along with studies, regular participation in sports develops discipline, leadership qualities and a mentality of mutual cooperation in students. The day-long competition was held and prizes were given to the winners among the students who participated in various events. The participation of the students in the closing ceremony created a joyful atmosphere.

The event was organized by Bangladesh National School, Madrasa and Technical Education Sports Association, Kaukhali, Pirojpur.
