The funeral prayer of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia was held in Santhia, Pabna. The funeral prayer was held at the Santhia Football Field at the call of Santhia Upazila BNP.

Speaking at the pre-funeral discussion meeting, former joint convener of Santhia Upazila BNP Fazlul Haque, Shahjahan Ali, Amir of Santhia Municipality Jamaat Hafez Abdul Gafur, Acting Principal of Bolayilmari Kamil Madrasa Dr. Abdullah, former vice-president of the municipality BNP Abul Kalam, vice-president of the Press Club Faruk Hossain, Nannu and others. Imam of Santhia Thana Mosque Hafez Atiullah led the funeral prayer.

In addition, the funeral procession of the uncompromising leader and national leader Begum Khaleda Zia was held in several unions including Atikula, Kashinathpur, Punduria, Karamja unions, and Boalmari High School grounds in Nandanpur union.
