Ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliament election, a discussion and exchange meeting was held at the initiative of Birganj Upazila Sramik Dal to make BNP's nominated candidate with the paddy sheaf symbol Manjurul Islam win in Dinajpur-1 (Birganj-Kaharol) constituency.

The meeting was held at the hall of Hablu Hat Darul Aitam Madrasa in Sujalpur Union No. 5 of Birganj Upazila on Saturday (December 27).

Bangladesh Sramik Dal Birganj Upazila branch convener Azaharul Islam Raja presided over the meeting.

BNP's nominated candidate with the paddy sheaf symbol Manjurul Islam in Dinajpur-1 constituency spoke as the chief guest. He said that everyone must work together in the field to restore the people's voting rights. BNP is committed to protecting the rights of workers and restoring democracy.

Birganj Municipality Jubo Dal Member Secretary Alhaj Mukarram Hossain Chowdhury Palash and Birganj Upazila BNP Student Affairs Secretary Shahjahan Siraj Shipon were present as special guests. In addition, leaders and activists of various levels of the Upazila and Union Sramik Dal were present at the meeting.
