Gazipur District BNP convener and two-time former MP from Gazipur-5 constituency and Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP's nominated candidate in the upcoming national elections, AKM Fazlul Haque Milon, was present as the chief guest at the Baul song program at the ground premises of Pubail High School in Ward No. 41 under Pubail Police Station of Gazipur city.

In his speech, he said, "Baul songs are an important part of the original culture of Bangladesh. The joy that is enjoyed when foreign culture enters the country is not in line with the true spirit of our society. Every country has its own culture, and Baul songs are a living reflection of that culture. In the past, when there was no electronic media, Baul song sessions were held in villages, markets, and people found joy and mental peace there."

He further said, “I have come today to seek the blessings of your elders, mothers and sisters. The Bangladesh Nationalist Party is a party that respects people of all religions and communities. Together, we want to build a new, beautiful Bangladesh. The rice ear is the symbol of our life – of development, unity and change. Therefore, I request you to give me another chance, vote for the rice ear. With your prayers, the continuity of development will reach everyone’s homes, Insha Allah.”

On Friday (November 21, 2025) evening, the inaugural function was held at the premises of Pubail High School under the chairmanship of Pubail Thana BNP President Alhaj Monir Hossain Sikder Bakul. Harun Or Rashid Sarkar, Revolutionary General Secretary of Pubail Thana BNP, was also present. Also present were Pubail Thana BNP Senior Vice President Md. Delwar Hossain, Senior Joint General Secretary Zakir Hossain Sarkar, Organizing Secretaries Arif Hossain Bhuiyan and M. Nazrul Islam, Alhaj Sultan Uddin Ahmed, Former Local Government Affairs Secretary Gazipur Metropolitan BNP, Alhaj Asad Hossain Khan Bulbul, Honorable Members of Pubail Thana BNP, leaders of Pubail Thana BNP and its affiliate organizations, along with music lovers from different areas of Gazipur district.
