A human chain was organized by Imam Parishad No. 3 and No. 4 in protest against the false case filed against the president of Ganga Rampur Union Imam Parishad of Batayaghata Upazila No. 3. On Saturday, at 11 am, the leaders of Gangarampur Union No. 3 and No. 4 Surkhali Union Imam Parishad formed a human chain.
General Secretary of Surkhali Union Imam Parishad No. 4 Md. Arif Billa said that those who harassed the Imam by filing false cases should be brought under the law and the culprits should be punished. Hafez Maulana Inamul Haque Belali said that we demand punishment from the human chain for filing false cases against Abul Kashem Molongi, the president of Union No. 3.
Maulana Abul Kashem Molongi, the president of Ganga Rampur Union Imam Parishad of Batayaghata Upazila No. 3, protested against the false case filed against him. Maulana Abul Kashem Molongi, the president of the Imam Parishad, said, “I get personal money from him, and instead of giving me the money I owe, he is trying to humiliate me in various ways. A false case has been filed against me. I protest against him and demand that my case be withdrawn.”
At this time, the leaders of the Imam Parishad were present, including Mufti Arif Billah, Maulana Mufti Ismail, Hafez Md. Enamul Haque Bilali, Maulana Ziaur Rahman, Maulana Mufti Kefayet Ullah, Hafez Tamjid Hossain, Hafez Abdul Hakim, and other local and Imam Parishad members.
