The final match of Arafat Rahman Coco Football Tournament was held at Salanga in Sirajganj.
This football final match was held on Sunday (November 9) at around 11 o’clock at Solanga College ground under the chairmanship of Shariful Islam (Habu), President of Solanga Degree College Management Committee and former General Secretary of Dhubil Union BNP.
Matiar Rahman Sarkar, former president of Solanga Thana BNP was present as the chief guest, Abdul Alim Sarkar, secretary of industrial and commercial affairs of Sirajganj district BNP and former general secretary of Solanga Thana BNP, former organizing secretary Hedayetul Islam Ayyub, vice president Shahjahan Ali, college principal Ashraful Alam, president of Solanga Thana fishermen’s team Ahsan were present as chief guests. Habib, Chhatra Dal leader Abdullah Al Mamun.
Under the direction of Degree College Professor Shahidul Islam Majnoor, the final match between Shaheed Abu Said XI vs Madhu XI was held at Degree College ground. Impressed in the game, the XI defeated the Abu Said XI by 2, 0 goals and became the champion. After the game, the guests distributed prizes between the champion team and the runner-up team.
