Aparna Roy Das, BNP Central Committee Manpower Development Co-Secretary, President of Dhaka Ramna Kali Temple and President of Bangladesh Puja Udjavan Front, visited the traditional Kantjiu Temple in Dinajpur.

On Friday (July 3) morning, she toured the temple premises along with a group of pilgrims. At that time, Alhaj Manjurul Islam, Member of Parliament for Dinajpur-1 constituency, welcomed her.

During the visit, Aparna Roy Das expressed interest in the terracotta art of the temple, ancient architectural style and its historical importance. The tour companions also emphasized the need to preserve the heritage of Kantjiu Temple as one of the most important archaeological sites in the country.

Local dignitaries, temple-related people and pilgrims were present at the time. The visit ended with courtesy calls and exchange of views.
