Amtali Upazila Journalist Coordinating Council has been formed with the firm conviction of transparent corruption-free and accountable journalism. A meeting was held on Tuesday evening to mark the formation of the committee. Samakal Amtali upazila representative Md unanimously at the meeting. A 31-member committee has been formed with Zakir Hossain as president and Haytuzzaman Miraj, Amtali upazila representative of Kaler Kanth newspaper as editor.
A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Advocate Shahabuddin Panna at Hotel Sakal Sandhya VIP Room on the occasion of the formation of Amtali Upazila Journalist Coordinating Council Committee. Amtali upazila contemporary journalist based on extensive discussion at the meeting. Zakir Hossain is the President and Amtali Upazila Representative of Daily Kaler Kanth. A 31-member committee has been formed with Hayatuzzaman Miraj as its secretary.
Other members of the committee are the vice president. Jasim Uddin Howladar (daily beach news), Md. Rezaul Karim (Dainik Amar Desh), Md. Harun Or Rashid Daily Morning Paper) Md. Abu Saeed Khokon (Daily Human Land and Daily News). Md. was elected joint editor. Nasir Mahmud Daily Sangram and Rajdhani TV), Joint Editor Sajib Miah (Daily Desh Rupantar and Asian TV) Mohsin Matubbar (Daily Khabar Patra) were elected organizing editor. Monirul Islam (Dainik Kalbela), has been elected as joint editor.
Joseph Mahtab (Dainik Sabuj Bangla) office editor has been elected. Abu Ziyad (Bangladen Bani), Abdullah Al Noman (daily morning page and last word) was elected as the publicity editor.
