A huge rally was held in Bholahat, Chapainawabganj on November 7 to celebrate the National Revolution and Solidarity Day and to demand Ganga-Padma, our rights, fair water distribution and save Padma in Harghe on Friday at 3 pm at Bholahat Mohabullah College Ground.

The huge rally organized by Bholahat Upazila BNP and its affiliates was presided over by Alhaj Md. Aminul Islam, former MP of Chapainawabganj-2 and co-editor of industry and commerce of the central BNP, and former MP of Chapainawabganj-3 constituency, Meg Harunur Rashid, member of the advisory council of the central BNP chairperson, was present as the chief guest.

The main speaker was Professor Alhaj Md. Shahjahan Miah, former MP from Chapainawabganj-1 constituency, member of the advisory council of the central BNP chairperson, and freedom fighter.

The special guests were Professor Md. Anwarul Islam Anwar, vice president of the Upazila BNP and former Upazila Chairman. Md. Tosiqul Islam Tasi, president of the District Nationalist Farmers' Party, Bholahat Upazila BNP senior vice president and former UP chairman, Md. Mahatab Uddin, and former Upazila Women's Vice Chairman Reshmatul Aras Rekha.

The event was jointly hosted by Kaiser Ahmed, former general secretary of Upazila Chhatra Dal and president of Bholahat Press Club, former personal assistant of former MP of Chapainawabganj-2 constituency Alhaj Md. Aminul Islam Amin, district and upazila BNP associates and leaders and activists of the organ organizations, and the general public from all walks of life in the upazila were present.
