A grand ceremony was organized to welcome the new students of the Alim class of Ta’mirul Millat Kamil Madrasa Tongi. This morning, the new students’ reception ceremony 2025 was held at Shaheed Malek Auditorium under the initiative of Ta’mirul Millat Central Students’ Union (TAKSU). More than 1,000 new students of the Alim class participated in it.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, recited by Qari Tawhid Islam. The new students’ reception ceremony was held under the chairmanship of Ta’mirul Millat Madrasa (TAKSU) VP Muhammad Iqbal Kabir and conducted by GS Muhammad Saidul Islam.
The Vice Chancellor (VC) of Manarat International University, Professor Munjor Rahman, was present as the chief guest. The central president of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, Zaidul Islam, was present as the chief discussant. The principal of the institution, Dr. Hefzur Rahman, spoke as the special guest.
The speakers highlighted the importance of Islamic education and morality for the new students and urged them to develop themselves as ideal people. GS Muhammad Saidul Islam was the moderator of the program. T-shirts, badges and key rings were given as gifts to motivate the new students.
At the end of the discussion session, there was an open cultural program for the students. The main attraction was the performance of Ghazal by artist Obaidullah Tarek and Turag Shilpi Gosthi. The program officially ended with the president’s speech in the afternoon with a charming performance of Ghazal and Islamic drama.
