Various monthly meetings including the Upazila Law and Order Committee organized by the Upazila Administration were held in Bholahat, Chapainawabganj. The meeting was held at 10 am on Monday (July 27, 2026) at the Upazila Model Mosque Conference Room.
The meeting, chaired by Upazila Executive Officer Md. Nahid Hossain, was attended as the chief guest by Dr. Mu. Mizanur Rahman, Member of Parliament for Chapainawabganj-2 constituency.
Among others present at the meeting were Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Sanaul Morshed, Bholahat Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Abdul Barik, Upazila Agriculture Officer Krishibid Md. Sultan Ali, Upazila LGED Engineer Md. Abu Sayeed, Upazila BMDA Engineer Md. Lokman Hakim, Upazila Primary Education Officer Md. Ibrahim Khalilullah, RDO Md. Sabuj Ali, Upazila Palli Sanchay Bank Manager Md. Matiur Rahman, Union Parishad Chairmen – Alhaj Md. Peer Jahan, Md. Yasin Ali Shah, Alhaj Md. Mozammel Haque Chutu and Md. Afaz Uddin Panu Miah.
Also present were BGB JK Polladanga Company Commander Md. Mahbub Alam, BGB Company Commander Chanshikari Md. Idris Ali, heads of various educational institutions and officials of government and private departments.
The meeting discussed in detail the law and order situation in the upazila, healthcare, education, agriculture and the overall development activities of the upazila. The speakers called on all concerned to work together to make the development activities of the upazila more dynamic and people-friendly.
