On Saturday, October 25, a huge consignment of ganja was found in the Sakdirampur area of Ward No. 2 of Balithuba Union No. 1 in Faridganj Upazila of Chandpur. According to local sources, ganja was recovered from multiple gardens in front of Khalil’s house in Chotobari area.
Initially, about 26 packets of ganja were found after searching various places. Locals believe that more ganja may have been hidden in the surrounding gardens and bushes.
Locals claim that the news of the incident was reported to the Faridganj Police Station two hours ago, but the police have not reached the spot yet. This has created anger and concern among the locals.
The incident has sparked widespread discussion in the area. Locals have sought the immediate intervention of the administration so that the entire incident is investigated and strict action is taken against the culprits.
