41st Anniversary Sports Competition Held in Jayanagar, India

The annual sports competition of inter-primary schools of six regions and one municipality was held at Chaltaberia High School ground in Bamangachi area of ​​Jaynagar No. 1 block of South 24 Parganas district with a total of 72 schools. SI Arup Tarupdar hoisted the national flag of India and inaugurated the event by releasing white pigeons.

Along with this, Zilla Parishad members Tapan Kumar Mandal and Manabendranath Sardar inaugurated the competition by releasing white pigeons. Approximately 250 students from different schools participated in this competition in various subjects including long jump, running in various categories, high jump, etc.

The first and second place holders from the said cycle level will be given an opportunity at the district level. Present at today’s event were District Council member Tapan Kumar Mondal, Arup Darafdar, SI (Jaynagar East Cycle), Chaltaberia High School Acting Headmaster Pradeep Kumar Naskar, Chaltaberia High School Former President Abdul Latib Halder, Daluakhaki Bamangachi School Senior and Distinguished Teacher Joy Krishna Halder, Chaltaberia High School President Ibrahim Mollah, and distinguished teachers from primary schools.
