With the aim of the biggest movement against the lies and misinformation of the anti-Bangla communal BJP and the conspiracy to take away the rights of legitimate voters through SIR, a workers' meeting on digital warriors was held at Chanakya Puri, Baruipur North, on Sunday, at the initiative of the Trinamool Congress IT Social Media Cell and Trinamool Chhatra Parishad of the Baruipur East Legislative Assembly. Keeping the 2026 assembly elections in mind, the district Trinamool leadership of South 24 Parganas jumped in. The party leaders called for winning 31 out of 31 seats in the district by taking the upcoming 26th assembly elections as a bird's eye view.

Apart from this, Upasana Chowdhury, Arpan Banerjee, Arnab Das, Krishnashish Saha, FAM workers from the state level were present. From the stage, MLA Bibhas Sardar called on the youth of the area to take to the field to protect the heritage and culture of Bengal through digital means to build a larger movement against the lies and misinformation of the anti-Bangla communal BJP and the conspiracy to take away the rights of legitimate voters through SIR. Subhasish Chakraborty said that social media is very powerful today due to the instructions of leader Mamata Banerjee and the foresight of Abhishek Banerjee. He told the workers that in order to lead, they have to work at the booth level first.

They have to jump on social media to stop the BJP's slanderous propaganda. Upasana, while introducing herself, said, I am Upasana, and my title is Digital Warrior. Upasana Chowdhury energized the workers present by raising the slogan of Joy Bangla. Student leader Sreejit from Baruipur East challenged the district to register the largest number of digital warriors. Bapi Haldar highlighted the recent incident of breaking the Kalimurti in Kakdwip to show how important it is to promote through digital media in the present times.

He said that the accused Narayan Haldar was misrepresented by the slanderous BJP as a Trinamool worker. Our social media workers exposed them by publishing the picture of this Narayan Haldar sitting on the BJP stage. Jahangir Khan said that the BJP wanted to launch NRC in 2021, but could not.
