Three warranted accused have been arrested in a special police operation in Monohardi, Narsingdi.

The operation was conducted from 8:30 pm on Sunday (September 21) to 5 am on Monday (September 22). Under the overall guidance of Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Monohardi Police Station, Mohammad Dulal Akand, SI (retd) Md. Shahidur Rahman, SI (retd) Md. Abed Ali, SI (retd) Md. Al Islam, ASI Md. Haresh Mia and ASI Md. Shariful Islam participated in the operation. They conducted operations in different areas along with the accompanying force.

Three accused were arrested at that time. They were absconding in various cases for a long time. The arrested accused are - Nur Jahan Begum, husband Rafiz Uddin, Sang- Suderbari Khotmora, Doaigaon. He is a convicted accused in CR case No. 689/22. He was sentenced to two months in prison in that case.

Salma, father Nurul Islam Nuru, Sang- Hetemdi, Chandanbari. He is a warranted accused in CR case No. 900/24. Salam (40), father deceased Hekim Mridha, Sang- Hetemdi, Chandanbari. He is another accused in the same case. Police said that legal action will be taken against the arrested and they will be handed over to the learned court.

Officer-in-charge of Monohardi Police Station Mohammad Dulal Akand confirmed the matter and said, "Regular police operations will continue to maintain the law and order situation. No matter who the culprit is, no one will be spared."
